City, University of London
City, University of London is an international University with a commitment to academic excellence, a focus on business and the professions, and a central London location - on the doorstep of both the City of London and Tech City, Europe’s fastest growing technology cluster.
City is a broadly-based university; our research covers areas as diverse as compressor technology, climate change, optometry, data visualisation and economic theory.
City Enterprise is your first point of contact for accessing the University’s knowledge and expertise and range of business services.
We facilitate access to collaborative and contract research, consultancy, licensing opportunities and continuing professional development to help organisations achieve their business objectives.
We also assist businesses in accessing government-backed Knowledge Transfer Partnerships to allow participating companies to accelerate their innovation and increase their competitiveness by tapping into the University’s expertise.
City has developed intellectual property assets, which reflect its research activity and which are available for licensing, co-development, collaboration or joint venture creation and provide a rapid route to new market opportunities for businesses.
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) is a popular national scheme that enables businesses and non-for-profit organisations to improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance by building collaboration with a university.
Under the scheme City University London will form a partnership with you to work on a project of strategic importance to your organisation. The work will be carried out by a high-calibre graduate who will be supervised by a member of academic staff here at City with a specialist area aligned with your organisation’s needs.
Typically KTPs vary in length from one to three years.
Partnering and Collaboration
City welcomes and actively seeks research collaborations with private, public and third sector organisations.
Partner with us on collaborative research projects to jointly address your business needs or commission our experts to carry put a piece of research for you. Our experienced researchers will work closely with you from formulation of the initial brief through to delivery of results.
